Starting off as a scribbler of doodles and turner of synth knobs I began to notice all these folks behind the scenes that seemed to make something of all of these weird little things that musicians and artists were generating.
They were called producers. Producers support artists and musicians bring their dreams to life. With this recollection the noticing developed into an obsession. With such a surplus of creativity, where was the surplus of support?

Live Sound
Stage management at Tower Grove Pride, mics for the wedding band, sound guy for the rock show, and even the lead tech on your annual conference.
No matter what the occasion, the sound sets the tone for your event. Literally amplifying the voices of the STL Metro Area is one of the most fulfilling jobs I've ever had the privilege of holding.
Studio
Studio work is sort of my safe haven. I started recording myself at 17, songs I had written on my upright piano along with my little sister.
After performing in local bands we entered professional recording studios and I had never been happier in my life: kid in a candy store energy. The individuals behind the mixers blended adept intelligence with such graceful artistic influence in a way I'd never seen.
Diving deeper into different DAWs, microphone applications, and production effects I got hooked. I kept honing skills myself until I had the opportunity to start recording other creatives.
Now, 17 years later, you can find me behind the mixer learning every day to blend my smarts and my wild mind to bring local musicians' work to their communities ear's.
Video
Video/Projection is a world I genuinely never expected to find myself in. It is an unexpected gift on my journey.
Following my thirst for all things audio, I was able to work with Encore Global to learn about the vast and increasingly vital world of video.
I've set intimate committee meetings in board rooms, 10K projectors for fundraisers, and movie nights for social clubs. Video, and visual presentation is crucial in conveying the message of any event.
My surprise landing into video and projection has scratched an inner-nerd itch that I wasn't even aware of, and I've been able to bring so much meaning to so many people through this work.
